I was sitting in my office yesterday, browsing some tweets, when I noticed one from Mashable about a little marketing stunt by Kraft. Tweeps had the chance to get their tweets turned into a commercial. Three would be chosen, with one very lucky ad to be shown on TBS during Conan and Lopez Tonight. I, of course, wanted my 30 seconds of fame so I went ahead and posted the following tweet:

Needless to say, five minutes later I had forgotten about the whole thing and didn’t care to investigate whether my genius tweet had been chosen or not.

Imagine my surprise when Kevin, one of our Art Directors, walks into my office this morning with a story to tell me… his BROTHER’s tweet was chosen for one of the ads!

“He had tweeted it Sunday night, without even knowing about Kraft turning tweets into ads,” Kevin said.

Although Colin Deval‘s tweet was not the one chosen to be shown on TBS, it is one of three featured on the Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Facebook page.

Congrats, Colin… I’m jealous!
