Help Stamp Out Hunger

This Saturday, May 14th you have the chance to participate in a food drive that comes to you. Over 1,2000 Milwaukee county letter carriers will perform double-duty by collecting donated food items along their mail routes during the 19th annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive.

This week, the letter carriers have been dropping off donation bags along their routes. The hope is you’ll be able to fill the bags with a few extra soup cans, corn and boxes of pasta. On Saturday, the letter carriers collect the non-perishable food items and drop them off at Hunger Task Force. The organization will then distribute them to area food pantries and meal programs.

Last year over 900,000 pounds of food were collected in Milwaukee county. It is the largest single day food drive in the nation. This is an easy way for you to get involved in the fight against hunger.
