Kristina, our account coordinator, has many nicknames… but here at z2, she is best known as “KK.” This proud Badger alumna is a friendly face with an amazing work ethic and infectious drive for success. She helps in so many aspects of the office, and for that, we are grateful. And here’s a fun fact: she can wiggle her ears!

Describe a “Typical Day” for you at z2:

I went to an account team-oriented day conference once and everyone was asked to circle synonyms for their job, some of which included zookeeper, teacher, comedian, juggler, scheduler, etc. In my day-to-day job I wear many hats. There are days when I have to miraculously get equipment to shoots, events and parties out of thin air, while other days I’m calling publications to discuss ads or laughing during a brainstorming session. Some days it’s yoga during lunch or maybe a food cart day (thanks z2!). I have things that always have to get done, project lists, client calls and meetings, project starts; and there are days when I’m finding props for a last minute shoot, making sure everyone gets fed during crazy proposal days or sharing a silly video to recharge the team.

Most Unique Experience during a z2 Workday:

We were shooting a video for a client and we decided we would throw props off set – props that would spill. I was designated the catcher of said props, so, in dress clothes I covered myself with a blanket and caught a bowl of ice cream, an ice cream cookie sandwich and an open beer. Needless to say, the shoot turned out fabulous and only my hands got sticky.

What’s your favorite Wisconsin activity, pastime or place?

I have to pick just one? Yeah, I’m cheating and naming a few. I grew up in the country with an outdoorsy family so I love camping, tubing, boating, campfires, hiking, etc. My dad has part ownership of a cabin, which is nicknamed FADL, and it’s in the ‘nort’ woods, where you lose service; it’s a great escape. But I also love being in a big concert crowd at Summerfest or any outdoor Wisconsin festival; you feel connected to everyone there in a way that only music can do.

Where is one place you’ve always wanted to go and/or Where is your favorite place you’ve ever visited?

After studying abroad in Sydney, I lived out of a van for 2+ weeks with a friend I met during the trip. We traveled all over the north and south islands of New Zealand, and I yearn to get back there.

I have lots of places on my bucket list, but all of the National Parks and a backpacking trip through Europe are at the top.

What is your pet peeve?

I hate when people pronounce certain words incorrectly – specifically, pacifically; Wisconsin, WEsconsin; milk, mElk; and when the wrong you’re/your or their/they’re/there is used. I’m sure I have others, but I can’t think of them right now – must be in a good mood! Oh, when someone assumes it’s ok to shorten my name …

If you were an animal, what would you be and why?

RED PANDA! They’re cute, cuddly, friendly and have a fun personality, but they’re also super clumsy and awkward. And they’re short.

RedPanda Wishing it was a real red panda!

Where’s Waldo?

I saw him on Halloween this year, so maybe Brady Street?
