I know, you thought that I was the expert, but this guy seems to take expertise to a whole new level.

The L’Oréal Men Expert is a Man’s Expert. Or an Expert’s Expert. Either way, he’s got you covered. Check out some of his advice.

L’Oréal is taking an approach similar to what Old Spice did with their “The Man Your Man Could Smell Like” campaign, interacting and engaging with their audience. This sort of thing makes the brand “fun” for its fans, but how does it work as customer service?

It’s always a challenge when you’re doing a more lighthearted campaign and have to deal with irate customers, but I think The Expert handled it well here.

The bigger question is, will it ultimately help the brand? There was much debate over whether the Old Spice campaign boosted sales, or just raised awareness of the Old Spice brand, so it’ll be interesting to see how this campaign plays out for L’Oréal.
