Our efforts with Lymphoma Society (LLS) have been recognized by another great national organization! It was just announced that we won a Communitas Award for our “This Time Tomorrow” music video in the 2010 Communitas Awards contest. The video, to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), features a collaboration of Milwaukee-area musicians.

Communitas Awards recognizes exceptional businesses, organizations and individuals that are unselfishly giving of themselves and their resources, and those that are changing how they do business to benefit their communities.

This Time Tomorrow won the award in category 3.1 Pro Bono. The winning video can be viewed at ThisTimeTomorrow.org and the song is available for $.99 download at iTunes with all proceeds going to LLS.

We’re excited to announce that we won seven awards for our “This Time Tomorrow” music video in the 31st Annual Telly Awards contest, which received nearly 11,000 entries from around the world. The video, to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), features a collaboration of Milwaukee-area musicians.

The video won five awards in the following categories: music video, use of music, art direction, videography/cinematography and charitable/not-for-profit; and won two People’s Telly awards for non-broadcast production and video. This is the first year of the People’s Telly awards, in which the public was invited to view and rate video submissions. The winning video can be viewed at ThisTimeTomorrow.org and the song is available for $.99 download at iTunes with all proceeds going to LLS.

Founded in 1978, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions, and web commercials, videos and films.

Thanks to everyone who contributed their time and talent to this great cause!

Through her leadership and our efforts behind the This Time Tomorrow project, she was able to raise a great deal of money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society fundraising efforts.

And this is just the beginning… We’ll be continuing to help raise awareness and money through the sale of the This Time Tomorrow single (which you can buy on iTunes.)

On May 7th, 2010 we’re throwing a big concert at Milwaukee’s Historic Pfister Hotel featuring Bascom Hill, The Felix Culpa, The Celebrated Workingman, The Boogie Men, Hayward Williams, The Jeanna Salzer Band… and more! (See the full list at ThisTimeTomorrow.org/concert)

And… we’re also holding a silent auction at the same time, with great items from Generac Power Systems, Allied Pools, Wheel & Sprocket, Milwaukee Wave, Heiser Automotive, Rishi Tea, Cascio Interstate Music… and more!

And… it’s all for charity. The money raised will go to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, to help fight blood cancers.
