We’re pleased to announce Z2 received two Telly awards in the 33rd Annual Telly Awards contest, which attracted more than 13,000 entries from around the world. Both of the winning entries were for videos filmed with Z2’s RED ONE digital camera.
The first winner, created as a holiday video for Putzmeister America, was filmed on location at the company’s headquarters in Sturtevant, WI, and won a bronze award in the category of art direction. As you’ll see, it took a whole lotta magic to make this one happen.
The second video, a 30-second TV spot for the Milwaukee Wave, was shot right here in our photo studio, and won bronze award in the sports category. We actually painted the whole normally white cyc wall entirely black for this shoot. Now that’s commitment.
Founded in 1978, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions, and web commercials, videos and films.
We’d like to thank everyone who worked hard to make these two shoots a success!

We’re excited to announce that we won seven awards for our “This Time Tomorrow” music video in the 31st Annual Telly Awards contest, which received nearly 11,000 entries from around the world. The video won five awards in the following categories: music video, use of music, art direction, videography/cinematography and charitable/not-for-profit; and won two People’s Telly awards for non-broadcast production and video. This is the first year of the People’s Telly awards, in which the public was invited to view and rate video submissions.
